As mentioned previously, I work in the marketing department for a small company. We are considering switching our existing CRM system, Salesforce, to HubSpot. I was asked to investigate the HubSpot demo and provide my team with insights on using the platform and my opinions about it. When navigating the marketing portion of the demo, I received a pop-up titled, "Write content in a flash with AI." It shared information about HubSpot's AI content assistant. I have an image of the pop-up below.

As stated in the above image, the AI assistant can be used to generate ideas and create content across multiple HubSpot tools. This includes the creation of emails, social posts, blogs, landing pages, and more. The short video demonstrates how to use the AI which involves simply typing the "/" character in the writing box. From there, many selections beginning with "generate" populate, including "generate" ideas, paragraphs, sentences, and outlines to name a few. You simply write in a prompt or question and the AI does the rest of the work. Pretty neat! Once you select the desired result, you can insert it into your content and even go back in to change it slightly. It has options to rephrase, expand, summarize, or even change the tone of the content.
In a previous post, I discussed Hootsuite, a social media management platform that my company utilizes. I shared how Hootsuite is providing users with AI tools to help generate content for social media posts. Not only am I seeing AI being integrated with social media softwares, but also with CRM platforms and many other avenues. For example, I see it when browsing on social media, reading recent news, and having general discussions with collegues and peers. Clearly, the use of AI is becoming more prominint. It is becoming the new norm and a widely-accessable tool that many professionals are utilizing in their everyday workflow. I am excited to be using these AI tools in my career and look forward to seeing where else it will become integrated, especially as it relates to the marketing field.
