I recently attended a MarketingProfs webinar titled, "The Art of Crafting Prompts." The session was run by Marcus Nelson, a brand storyteller with well-known clients including Salesforce, Facebook, and Instagram. I attended this webinar as a marketing professional interested in learning more about crafting AI prompts, especially when using ChatGPT. I was excited to see that a marketing-based platform has put a lot of effort into developing content and sessions that explore AI. I also thought the webinar was extremely relevant to this course, so I wanted to share it here.

Attending webinars is nothing new to me, but for some reason this one stood out. Marcus spent thirty minutes presenting topics like the elements of successful prompts, how to craft the best responses for your needs, and how to teach the AI your writing tone and style. Additionally, he discussed how to use AI ethically. I had forgotten about ethics but believe it is extremely important. As with anything, people can choose to abuse the tool. Reminding users of ethics and how the program blocks unethical uses was very relevant. I would be interested to learn more about how ChatGPT specifically works towards setting up these blockers.
One thing I noticed during the session was the high level of engagement. The remaining thirty minutes were left for a Q&A session, and I initially thought this would be too much time. However, it proved to not be enough. In fact, there were many questions that went unanswered! Everyone's participation made me all the more excited about the session. I knew AI was growing, and it was exciting to be part of an extremely relevant discussion. Not only that, but people across the United States (maybe even around the world) attended. There are so many use-cases and areas to explore with this AI, specifically ChatGPT, that are interesting to learn more about.
